I copied the note I had written down in my notepad—that’s where the title of this article came from. “Looking back at it like a monkey” is too funny not to use. What I’ll do is, I'll attach a couple of links to introduce you to a few celebrities you may or may not already know and then group them together at the end with that #funny title.

Eminem.

It’s hard to say ‘favorite MC.’ I’ll just say he’s in my top five—that’s the same as favorite. Like saying there’s one best quarterback in the NFL or one best guitarist in Memphis, they’re all the best at what they do because they’re unique so saying top five is essentially the same as saying favorite.

The majority of people reading this probably know his name already. He caught his big break with Dr. Dre, is lyrically gifted, dude can out-write just about anyone and is a great performer, too, he has a lot to say and a crafty way of saying it—have you seen him freestyle? I’ve been a fan of his for a long time.

Charlie Lee.

Creator of Litecoin—He’s one of the programming engineers responsible for Coinbase ’s success and something about engineering Google, too.

Litecoin is currently the 6th ranked cryptocurrency listed on Coinmarketcap dot com. Those of you who have traded Litecoin know it has been transacting at speeds faster than the majority of its competitors since its creation in 2011.

Donald Trump.

At least I didn’t use this one. The 45th and current President of the United States. What he says effects a lot of people, potentially the world. He had a TV show once, has multiple failed businesses resulting in 6 bankruptcies and changed the worlds opinion of social media in government.

He’s the center of attention in several controversies, books, etc. Can he run the free world? There’s a ballot box for that. Can he market himself? Absolutely!!

Meghan Markle.

She’s the Duchess of something here in England. She’s originally from Los Angeles, California, anyone from LA will tell you that—it was front page headlines for a long time. She married one of the Prince’s so now she’s a member of the Royal Family which doesn’t mean much to me, other than she can do whatever she wants, whenever she wants. I got that image of her from IMDb.com, otherwise I wouldn’t have known she’s an actress.

What life is like for her living in England, who, if any family of hers remain in the states, I don’t know.

Machine Gun Kelly.

If you don’t recognize him, you’re probably familiar with this Machine Gun Kelly—a famous mob gangster from the 30’s. There’s a new MGK in the 21st century—he’s from Cleveland.

My wife’s a big fan of his, even more than me and I’ve seen him preform ’Til I Die three times. She follows his Instagram, movie premiers, all of that stuff.

(Search results for “staring at a ball, gif” are disturbing)

Where’s the point

They all came from different worlds. Maybe not so much MGK and Eminem, but they’re all still very much alike—don’t let them fool you.

They may or may not have shoes on their feet, maybe they prefer to wear socks, it probably depends how cold it is inside the house. The lights are on sometimes, sometimes they’re not, I like to feel my way through a dark house. Each of them wake up in the morning and most likely make their way to the coffee, the tea, a glass of water, everyone reading this has their own morning routine. I, personally, enjoy my coffee—especially when it’s cold outside.

Somewhere in between the first and second cup or, maybe it’s between the third and fourth cup or both and, long before a layer of deodorant is applied or teeth get brushed. Each of the above mentioned names are most likely in a private room, just like you, behind closed doors, just like you, and they’re in a squatting position, just like you know who. Everyone’s feet are adjoined and are in no position to take off running anytime soon because of the pants wrapped loosely around the ankles and, depending if they’re left or right handed, they’re staring under the corresponding left or right shoulder Looking Back At it Like A Monkey.
