I understand the example you use and the argument you present. But to me it feels like it's too much you know? Feels like too many people (and smart people at that) would have to live in a sort of bubble.

Also, that would make it look like the "elite" has almost alien like power/capacity to do this. Like aliens watching us from the sky without us knowing. Seems (in my opinion) a bit far-fetched. Is it possible? Of course. But seems unlikely.

Thanks for the different perspective though.
