Hello fellow steemians and crypto bloggers,

A Venezuelan friend sent me this video today which has really impacted me. While living in Cuba during the 90’s famine AKA “Special Period” I heard about things like this happening all the time. I know that members of my family resorted to eating their pets once things turned really dire.

As far as I know I didn’t eat cat or dog meat, but I was a kid, maybe my parents lied to me, I don’t really know and they never tell me about these things, they change the conversation if you speak about this since it’s an embarrassing topic for most Cubans. I have pictures of my family members that look like they came from a concentration camp in Germany but my parents even tried to destroy them once out of shame. I still have them scanned though, I may decide to share them here someday.

I share this because I continuously see young dumb millennials still praising Socialism and Communism after 100 years of mass murders by bullet, hunger and misery. I hope they see themselves and their families in this video, learn from the realities of life, and discard the utopian dreams their loser leftists teachers have brainwashed them with in their worthless universities. It’s time for them to take the red pill, like many of their friends, get some crypto and start buying their freedom out of the system.
