They Say the End is Near. Are They Correct?

Like a raging horse before the coming storm, humanity seems to find itself in chaos sensing what is to come. Modern “scholars”, bureaucrats in white buildings, and mouthpieces on all available media all seem to say the same thing, that we are doomed. They may not agree on what is ultimately causing our demise but they all sense it, and so do we.

As humans, we are conditioned to believe that we are separated from nature and that we are somehow above it. This is certainly a side effect of modern times and the conquest of Middle Eastern religions over traditional beliefs; however, that does not change the fact that humans are just as natural as the forest, even though we no longer live there or act in a natural way.

As Christianity took hold on European nations so did the obsession with the end of days. The hope and belief that the world would be wiped clean of evil and impurity and those lucky enough to be Christian would be taken away to eternal happiness with no regard for what came before them.

Are we wrong to assume that a major cataclysm is approaching? Where do we separate our natural instincts that are intuned with nature telling us to prepare for danger from the Abrahamic dogma of eternal salvation from evil?

Norse mythology speaks of nine worlds that came before this one. Each held together by a world tree that was destroyed in the end making way for a new world. In fact, most traditional mythologies speak of worlds before ours so we already have a core belief buried in our subconscious knowing that one day too, our world as we know it will come to an end.

This remains to be one of the ultimate truths that we can count on in this life. What we need to ask ourselves is what are we doing now to make our world a better place? Most of us already know what needs to be done but feel that our civilization has already reached its apex. We want to make ourselves as comfortable as possible in this life while we still can. Is this wrong? That is for you to decide.

As a father, I want my children to grow up safe and comfortable as much as any other father would. They too should enjoy the freedom that I had to pursue what I wanted without fear of being murdered or imprisoned for my beliefs and ideas (sadly, this is not the case everywhere). But as society continues to spiral into degradation with fear and unnatural behavior becoming celebrated as right, and normal, having beliefs and searching for the truth is becoming more difficult with each passing year.

By forcing diversity on society, we are no longer celebrating the diversity of humanity we are destroying it. That is the very definition of integration. When you force people to adhere to new and outside beliefs you destroy the old ones. Each time this occurs humanity becomes less enriched, less distinct, and ultimately weaker. This means that we have become easily controlled.

Whether our destruction will be of natural creation or of our own, we can know that we are right to sense our impending doom. Would you save the world if you knew that its destruction would bring about the creation of a new one?

We can't simply bury our heads in the sand (or our smartphones) and ignore what is coming and what is happening around us, but we must continue on and make the world better by being better ourselves. We need to remind ourselves each day of our mortality and the delicacy of our habitat, our Earth.

We must respect our world, respect ourselves, and respect others. This can be done by teaching our children our ways and showing them the strength they possess within themselves to be better people. It is our duty to those who came before us, and to those who come after, to help build a foundation for a new world that is more in sync with the one we are born from.

Honor your ancestors and yourselves. Embrace victory and be proud of who you are! You are the sum culmination of all your ancestors. We must strive to be better and the rest will happen naturally!
