A second thought on some old "wise" sayings.

Lots of things in life seem to happen as if they were programmed to behave in some particular way. And there are many life priciples we were thought and persusaded to accept as true. You can find many of them in some old wise sayings. I decided to take a look at this one.....

Slow and Steady Wins the Race!

Really? At least we were made to believe this one. But then, taking a second look, does it all have to be slow and steady. Cant we achieve a speed greater than slow and still maintain the all-important steadiness? I wonder. Is iit impossible to do things swiftly and maintain the consistency so badly required in Life? A second mind is telling me we can.

I definitely think that with proper planning and preparations, we can do lots of stuff really fast and still keep going. The slow-and-steady mindset seems to be limiting us. Literary encouraging us to take it easy since we will definitely keep going.

I may be wrong. But I have seem that we can rewrite general opinion and achieve successs faster than "slow". Its a fast-paced world. Lots of things already happen fast - fastfood, fast flight, fast cash, etc. And they keep right going.

Let me get your thought on this:

Will slow and steady always win the race?
