The big story right now is about Boeing 737 MAX 8 Jets.
As you might have heard of the major news story about the Boeing and the FAA have agreed that all airlines that fly the 737 MAX 8 Jet, should be grounded.
As you probably heard there was a major crash just recently in Ethiopia.
According to recent reports, they found that there's similarity between the flight path of this particular airline and the one some months ago on the Lion's air. So, there's apparently some kind of new evidence that suggests maybe they are related.
What seems to be the case, is that a lot folks right now, people in the media seem to be thinking that the reason for the air crash might be mechanical failure.
But probably the reason ain't mechanical failure, because the number one cause of airplanes crashing is not what the media tells you, but it is actually due to Pilot's error. 55% of what airplanes crash is because of some mistake that the pilot made, according to the statistics in this article.
Why do planes crash?
55% Pilot error, that's huge. There are other reasons too that cause plane crashes but they seem to be dwarf compared to the percentage error of Pilot.
But let's wait and see what they get from the Black Box, but probably it's again going to be Pilot's error.
