Urgent need: supplies for victims of Typhoon Vinta

Hey steemians. News from this part of the world.

Typhoon Vinta, a tropical storm has recently hit the southern tip of the Philippines.

Unfortunately, Cagayan de Oro City, my hometown and where I currently live, was one of the areas hit by Vinta.

However, this leaves hundreds of families homeless. There are 6 evacuation centres in the city. All of them are occupied by families which include children, pregnant women and senior citizens.

In the light of this tragic event, I implore your help dear steemians. Proceeds from this post will go to food, water and toiletries to families in the evacuation centers.

It’s almost Christmas, and we hope to give them light that would help them through this hurdle.
