Idolatry.

Today, January 14, day in which many people go out to idolize the divine shepherdess, through a procession in Barquisimeto Lara state, the number of people who walk kilometers, paying, promises to pay, tributes, not only, of that state, come even from other countries.

As Venezuelans, we often ask ourselves why God does not listen to our pleas? Because it has let us reach this humanitarian crisis that our country is experiencing today? Well, I think that's the answer, there's a lot of idolatry, veneration of plasters and statues, which as the Bible says in:

PSALMS 115 5-8

5 They have mouths, but they do not speak; they have eyes, but they do not see;
6 Ears have, more do not hear; They have noses, but they do not smell;
7 Hands have, but do not touch; they have feet but they do not walk;
They do not talk with their throats.
8 They are like those who make them, and everyone trusts them.

Isaiah 46 - 7

They lift him on the shoulders and carry him; they put it in its place and there it is. It does not move from its place. Although some cry out to him, he does not answer, his anguish does not free him.

Let us learn to LOVE GOD about all things, that he is always in first place, let us leave all our burdens to him.
