Cinematography around the world!

I'm a Cinematography student so, why not? I'm gonna write about all movies I've watched so I hope you enjoy...

The last movie I watched was Boy Erased by Joel Edgerton.

It's a movie about a boy in a very religious family and it had to come out in front of his parents, they sent him to a gay conversion therapy assessment program. That could be a good resume actually, but it involves even more.

This movie has a great photography, its director of photography was Eduard Grau. He's Hispanic, and have been nominated for Best Cinematography Award. He's known for his work on "Buried", "A Single Man", "Suffragette" and "Her". His cinematography in this movie was incredible, it has sepia colors most of the time and used some continuos shots to create more impact in the audience.

Nothing new, but its rhythm makes it more unique, the atmosphere in the movie is created for it and, of course, the sound. Most of the movie has that quiet atmosphere, it makes us feel the tension of "What's gonna happen?" and that's amazing.

And, of course, we can't forget to mention that Troye Sivan it's an actor in this movie, one of the reason most of the audience went to the cinema to watch it.

Well that's it for today. Actually this blog will be in English only so... yeah. Have a good night, everyone! ^^
