Vitalik proposes a new idea

Sharding, which means having several interconnected networks and sub-chains instead of one.

The fork is among the recent developments coming to the Ethereum (ETH) network based on the Proof of Stake mechanism.

Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin suggests another scenario for what the mechanism might look like.

Vitalik proposes a new split idea:

Vitalik Buterin tweeted and shared a new fork idea called “Proto-danksharding” which is a data validation mechanism focused on transactions that cannot be performed by the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

"Proto-danksharding" has been proposed to replace "danksharding", which is a segmentation technique in which only one bidder selects all transactions and all data entering this slot rather than the bidder.

The proposed solution could be a temporary variant as it includes the implementation of some elements of sinister sharing.

At the same time, it leads to increased data usage because it needs much larger blocks.

The founder of Ethereum suggests deleting blob data automatically every 30 days to prevent the network from having too much data storage and memory requirements.

The value of Ethereum deposited in Ethereum 2.0 deposit contracts exceeds $30 billion:
There is not much left for the Ethereum network to move to integration, or a full migration towards the PoS consensus mechanism.

Where there are very few stages left to complete the integration process.

Meanwhile, the value of Ethereum deposited in Ethereum 2.0 deposit contracts has exceeded $30 billion, which is equivalent to the combined market capitalization of many small and medium-sized cryptocurrencies.
