The next Seven Chord we’ll be learning is the D Major Seven Chord or “D7”.
This chord is crucial in blues playing, as will be illustrated later. Make sure you play only the D string (4th string) up, muting the E and the A string (6 and 5). Practice playing the D7 and then alternating between the D Major and D7 chords.
Don’t forget to practice those arpeggios while you’re at it!
