Both sides of the political spectrum use tragedy to push for a political agenda and expand the Police State and expand the surveillance state
Whenever "Islamic terrorist attacks" occur,the Right Wing would push for more authoritarian laws and push for more surveillance on the public then spread anti-Islam/anti-muslim sentiments.
Whenever there are attacks committed by a white gunman, the Left Wing would push for more gun control(as if that would ever help) and spread anti-white sentitments.
If we truly want to put an end to such tragedies then we should stop pushing political agendas after a tragedy.
