The desert in Erg Chebbi, Morocco

The dunes formed by the wind reach a height of up to 150m and it is a feat of strength to reach the top. After each step you slide back down a little. But the view is breathtaking.

I was in this camp for two days but most of the time it's way too hot to do anything. But a lot of people come here to be buried in the hot sand. It is considered a treatment for rheumatism. On the camp there is an approx. 3m deep well from which one gets cold, clear water.
