Im weltberühmten "Faust" gingen die Figuren Faust und Mephisto von Elend aus auf den Brocken . Dabei ging es über Stock und Stein auf dem Teufelsstieg. Auf 5,4km überwindet man ca. 600 Höhenmeter bis man die Spitze des Brockens und den Hexentanzplatz erreicht.
