Last summer i visited teh Großglockner for some landscape and wildlife photography together with a friend of mine. The Großglockner is the highest mountain in Austria with nearly 3800 Meters and one of the highest mountains in Europe. It's a popular destination for hikers ins summer and you can find still pretty untouched nature there on some places.
When i visited this place in Summer i also visited the water reservoir of Kaprun which is situated near the Großglockner. It's one of the biggest power stations with water reservoir you can find in Austria. This week in Mitersill last year was a pretty sucessful photography trip and i hop e i can do something simmilar this year too.

I really enjoyed the nice powerful colors the mountains had there. We had perfect white clouds and sunny weather and this helps the mountains to look pretty powerful and big with the ice on top.
