Laceno Lake

Beautiful sunny day this morning, I decided to take a walk in the mountains of my land, Irpinia in Campania (Italy) and more precisely on the Laceno plateau from which the name of the present body of water derives (the Lake Laceno) at about 1000 meters above sea level, inside the Parco dei Monti Picentini. The lake is surrounded by peaks exceeding 1500 m, where it is possible to ski even in winter. On the plateau there is also a small village of the same name made up of villas, where you can spend a few relaxing hours. Typical products such as black truffles, porcini mushrooms and pecorino cheese can be tasted. For the more active people, excursions on foot by mountain bike or quad are possible. You are all invited to visit this relaxing place.
