There is an emphasis on quality of life that lakes bring and lakes are able to alleviate the effects of torrential downpour that can sometimes cause flooding. On the other side of the climate spectrum, a lack of water in certain seasons can see lakes being used as a reserve to ease water storage.
There is utility in all situations, and it is worthwhile to think a little more about how great lakes really are. Lakes are able to provide great benefit to the surrounding areas and will serve a source of hydration for nearby grounds.
