Super Silver Haze is one cannabis strain that hits you fast, and it hits you HARD. I definitely give it 5/5 stars. Here's why:
Overall, this one will give you some pretty uplifting and euphoric feelings, making it perfect for socializing and kicking back with friends. However, this one isn’t just for recreational use since it has plenty of benefits to offer medical cannabis users.
The buds are pretty densely packed and a pretty forest green color with heavy crystal frosting and deep amber trichomes. And it’s STICKY.
Snap open a bud, and you’ll immediately notice the savory citrus aroma with strong notes of piney-earthiness. Considering the fact Super Silver Haze got its skunky quality from the Haze and Skunk No. 1 parents, it’s no wonder why this one is so pungent and delicious. In fact, it’s won Cannabis Cup awards in 1997 and twice in 1998.

Super Silver Haze first emerged back in the 1990s, bred by Green House Seeds, and quickly made its way to the Top Ten list of the most popular sativa strains.
Most people think Super Silver Haze is just sativa, but that’s a pretty common misconception. The strain’s actually a hybrid that comes from a blend of three strains: Northern Lights, Haze, and Skunk No. 1.
Potency of Super Silver Haze
Super Silver Haze is generally about 70% sativa and 30% indica, with a 20 - 23% THC level. It’s a pretty potent strain that definitely packs a punch, which makes it a bit too much for new cannabis users. (But, then again, everyone is different.) It’s best to be cautious, though, because too much Super Silver Haze can cause some pretty bad paranoia.
Effects of Super Silver Haze
Super Silver Haze produces an airy, dreamy head high that is excellent for getting those creative juices flowing and boosting your focus. Plus, like most sativa strains, this one is pretty darn energizing. Pair it with a strong cup of coffee,, and you’ll be ready to start your day off right.
