Why is truth important?

First, I would like to say love the truth.
"The truth shall make you free." Honesty is to cling the truth no matter what happens. The virtue encourages us to love the truth, to seek it and to tell it when necessary.
Why is truth important? Because truth is something you can never go wrong. Being true to yourself, to everyone and to everything you do in your life is an act of sincerity. A sincere person reveals completely, when fitting, to the right person and at the right time, anything he has done, seen, thought or felt with regard to his own or another's situation. Sincere person is without deceit, straightforward, genuine. Sincere people are attractive to others because they make people feel at ease. So when you always stay in the truth you mean no harm to everybody.
The absence of pretense in their manner or dealing with others invites sincerity on the part of others. The sincere person has no need to impress others, therefore, when he is paid a compliment he knows that he is not being flattered.
Truth is important because it is your quality, you are being trusted and believed in.
Stay in truth and you can be proud of.

That's all thank you...
