I'm Not a Robot is a South Korean television series starring Yoo Seung-ho who is the rich guy named Kim MIn Ky that suffered from human allergy for 15 years, Chae Soo-bin who is Jo Ji Ah / Aji 3, the secret inventor and applied as a part-timer to act as a robot as a payment to her debt to her once lover Um Ki-Joon whose name is Hong Baek Kyoon, the scientist.
The scientist Hong Baek Kyoon had unable to move on from a breakup with Jo Ji Ah for he finds himself fitted to receive a valid explanation why they parted their ways, unaware of his negligence and lack of affection to his girlfriend. For years, after Hong Baek Kyoon encountered issues regarding his inventions, he hides his face from the world. He invented a robot capable of learning human emotions and developing specific functions to deal with each of it. The image of his ex-girlfriend Jo Ji Ah was been used as the model for his robot named Aji 3. Due to the delayed transportation of some parts needed for Aji 3's operation, after several years, Hong Baek Kyoon decided to face Jo Ji Ah, again. Coincidentally, Jo Ji Ah had an argument with her brother due to financial problems. Thus, the two come up with a solution to work together.
Unfortunately, as time passes by that Jo Ji Ah pretends a robot, she fell in love with Min Kyu, who also felt the same towards her. Faced with several complications including Min Kyu's succession to his father's company and the white lie that was unveiled the time he tries to accept the fact that he can't be and fall in love with a robot, they both have their happy ending together after knowing how to listen and learning how to understand. After all, love knows to forgive. To forgive, it's not about forgetting but accepting.
This drama series is the top of my Favorite Korean Novela for this year so far. I can't forget the very first episode that really made me thrilled and laughed, the middle that made me cry, and the end that made me sigh.
