First Korean N.B.A. Player / 처음으로 N.B.A. 플레이어. Ha Seung-Jin

Ha Seung-Jin is the only NBA player from South Korea. He was born on August 4th, 1985 in Seoul, South Korea. He attended Samil Commercial High School, in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province. He attended college at Yonsei, from 2002 to 2004. He played seven tournament games with the Yonsei basketball team in his senior year of high school and averaged 12.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks. Yonsei won the national title that year. USA Professional Career: He played for the Portland Reign of the ABA league for a short after coming to America, in 2004. That same year he was selected to play for the NBA team the Portland Trail Blazers. He played for them from 2004–2006. In 2006 was traded and he played for the Fort Worth Flyers 2006 to 2007 and from 2008 to 2012 he played for the Anaheim Arsenal. Ha returned to South Korea and played professional basketball in South Korea on the team KCC Jeonju, which won the 2009 and 2011 Korean Basketball League (KBL) championships. Ha also represented the South Korea national basketball team in the 2009 FIBA Asia Championship in Guangzhou, 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou and 2011 FIBA Asia Championship in Wuhan. Ha's older sister, Ha Eun-Joo, is also a professional basketball player. A 6'8" center, she signed with Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA on February 6, 2006
