Reports Said Suho Discriminates Mentally-Ill Patients, Here's What He Actually Meant

Suho has received backlash from Netizens for allegedly discriminating people with mental illness through his comment.

It was all happened during the March 17th live broadcast of Sehun on Instagram, where Suho made an appearance on it. During the live broadcast, Suho was found saying, "It's weird. People will think I'm a mentally ill patient." (starting at 3:33 mark in the video above) However, this is the real deal everyone has to know.

It's true that Suho used the term 'mentally-ill' (in Korean 정신병자, jeong-shin-byung-ja) but it seems like he meant it in more of a joking manner as it was a response to Sehun using the Instagram filters and making funny voices. It is true that he did a derogatory term and there's no denying that. However, in Korea, the word is sometimes used when one refers a silly person. Most probably, Suho has nothing against mentally-ill patients and was just using the term to indicate a "silly" person -- which is in this case, Sehun.

What are your thoughts about this, people?
