Knicks vs Pelicans Summer league

My BUMASS Knicks played the Pelicans featuring #1 Overall Pick Zion Williamson & #3 RJ Barrett. I liked how even though the earthquake stopped the game early, the Knicks still lost. Both players didn't produce much, though you shouldn't expect the world from 2 rookies. Zion had some strong slams and showed intangibles when he robbed Kevin Knox, banged it, then flexed to the crowd. I noticed his crossovers from his Duke days didn't necessarily translate to this game. Knox did show confidence in his jumper last game though.

RJ Barret wasn't much better, known for his scoring as opposed to his athleticism. He's a creative slasher/ball handler, though I feel guys that tall should shoot more baseline faders. Not a floor general, but adept enough to create for himself and others. Zion's funky flat jumper won't work in the league. Mitchell Robinson blocked his 3 with ease and finished on the other end. Zion will have a noticeable physical advantage in the paint from day 1 though. Even Trier looked strong, exploding to the rim and hitting some 3s.
