Tokyo Haute Cuisine: Kisoji Shabu-Shabu and Sukiyaki

Food lovers and adepts of the art of meat know it already, it‘s not american barbeque, it‘s gourmet specialists in Japan who prepare the best meat on earth. Those who have been eating here already know I am not overacting.

Yesterday friends and me went for a lunch at traditional Tokyo style restaurant Kisoji in Akasaka, which is a quarter of Tokyo not far away from the emperors palace. The place is famous for it‘s Sukiyaki and the quality of meat served.

We have ordered typical Tokyo style Sukiyaki, the very thin sliced meat and vegetables cooked/burned some seconds in a dark brew, then dipped into raw egg. As a drink I have chosen Suntory beer. Amazing taste...
