Taman Putroe Phang is a park built by Sultan Iskandar Muda in the year (1607-1636) at the request of Putroe Phang (Princess Kamaliah) empress of Sultan Iskandar Muda who came from the Pahang Kingdom. This park was built because the Sultan is very loving queens so the empress is not lonely when in live sultan run government.
In Taman Putroe Phang there is a closed door (Pintoe Khop) is a door that connects the palace (Meuligoe) with Taman Putroe Phang which is domed. Pintoe Khop is a place to rest Putroe Phang, after tired of swimming, located not far from Gunongan, there is putro ladies washing the hair of the empress, There is also a pond for the empress shampoo and flower bath.
As an empress, Putroe Phang possessed the skills and wisdom and beauty that made Mahsyur in the Acehnese society. In solving legal disputes, the public often asks for his opinion.
