Cho cho train #myjob

A legend is told of a famous Kenyan traditional medicine man who was loved and feared in equal measure! This man, the story is told that he had special powers to heal, to prophesy and to curse. Many travelled from far and wide to come and witness the powers that had been bestowed upon this great man, to their suprise this man was not a Con - any word/s that this man spoke came to pass.

His name was mugo wa kiburu, mugo in the local dialect means a healer! So accurate were his predictions that with compass accuracy he correctly predicted the coming of the white man in Kenya he said " a man whose skin is pale and can see blood flowing in his veins will come with sticks that light fire (guns)" he further said that it would be useless to fight him with spears. This came to pass.

Our story today revolves around this next prophesy - he described this iron snake (train) that would have many legs like a millipede that would eat the pale men and vomit them out (passengers) when it stopped. According to him the iron snake would have a bushy head bellowing smoke. With precise accuracy this prophesy too came to pass.

And while this particular chapter in life is closed and passed it must not be forgotten, we have to remind and teach that there exists a hero in each and everyone of us. Your calling might not be to prophesy, it might be to teach, to lead or to do any other positive thing that you have been gifted. All the world is a stage with men and women as players in it. Lets play our part responsibly.

The cho cho train is a small invention the kids enjoy rides on. I remember many years ago we would travel miles and miles to go and admire the train as it slithered out of sight. People have brilliant minds and today, kids can enjoy such train rides as we make a living out of it.
