 شعر از خیام

این کوزه که آبخوارهٔ مزدوریست
از دیدهٔ شاهیست و دل دستوریست

هر کاسهٔ می که بر کف مخموریست
از عارض مستی و لب مستوریست

poem from khayyam:

this pitcher, which is a drinking vessel for a slave,

is the vision of a master and his ruling heart.

every cup of wine in hand, which is intoxicating,

is from a drunken petitioner and a blind lip.
