Winners of the The #JoinHive Twitter Gif Creation Contest

A little over a week ago, I launched my #JoinHive Twitter Gif Creation Contest, even though at the time my prize pool sponsor (@theycallmedan) was AFK (away from keyboard), and I only had a small amount of Hive myself to offer.

The good news - a bunch of people created some awesome Tweets & gifs for entries into the contest!

The not-so-great news - @hivetips is still undergoing maintenance (thanks to Twitter being such a twit...lol), so I can't award the prizes on Twitter as I'd hoped. Instead, I'm sending them directly to everyone's wallets and following @hiro-hive's lead by announcing the transfer on each tweet. 😊

The wicked awesomesauce news - Dan peeked in just long enough to confirm his original offer (and thank you very much to @aliento for sending it along) so now everyone gets a much bigger prize! 🎉 🎉 🎉

Thanks so much for supporting this contest, Dan even when you're so busy with offline stuff - you ROCK!

 
 

That means I have 125 Hive to divide among 8 entries. At first, the math hurt my brain...

But then I realized that one particular gif really stood out for me, so I decided to award that person just a smidge more for their effort.

So congratulations to @pacolimited, @eve66, @hiro-hive, @jenina619, @sgt-dan, @plantstoplanks, and @fionasfavourites for entering and coming up with some super cool and creative reasons & gifs promoting our blockchain home. I'm sending you each 15 Hive for your entries!

And @xcountytravelers, all the time you spent figuring out how to turn Snickers adorableness into a gif was time well spent. I'm sending you 20 Hive for melting my brain with her cuteness! For those who missed it...
