My name is Imanah, I am 27 years old and I live in Suriname. I'm a student at the Anton the Kom Univerisity of Suriname where I study Social Development and Policy. I need to get a hold on this master thesis but oh boy that's a task on it's own 🙃
I'm a mom of one very active little girl and we have three dogs and two mini "koi look a like" fishes.
My Hive journey so far
I joined Hive once before but lost my keys (BIG MISTAKE 😣) but I'm back 🤣.
I got interested in Hive after seeing @kidsisters on 10 Minuten Jeugdjournaal in Suriname. They are Cambodian sisters who live in Suriname. I made my current account as it was an assignment from @jeanlucsr.
What I do for a living
I work as a part time day care teacher and a part time camera journalist. I love what I do as they are two completely different fields. The group of kids I work with are 2 year olds. Wonderful age group if you ask me. As a camera journalist we get to do interviews, make video's nd have to edit them as well. A lot of work but also a lot of fun (most of the time).
My hobbies
I love food (the eating part 😁) and I have a thing for decorating mini cakes and cupcakes. I just feel like there is something theraputic about decorating them. I've been doing this for about 5 year now and I still enjoy doing it very much.
