John Ross is an American journalist, poet and author who has lived in and reported from Mexico for more than three decades. Some of his many book titles include: ‘The Annexation of Mexico: From the Aztecs to the IMF One Reporter’s Journey Through History,’ ‘Mexico in Focus: A Guide to the People, Politics, and Culture,’ the American Books Award winning, ‘From the Roots: Indian Uprising in Chiapas.’
His latest release is, ‘Zapatista!: Making Another World Possible; Chronicles 2000-2006.’
He recently published ‘Fourth Fleet Steams South: Return of the Gunboat’ an article about the announced deployment of the fourth - again.
