LINE announced that it will start virtual currency exchange service "BITBOX" on 28th.
At the end of the LINE event "LINE CONFERENCE 2018" held on the same day, LINE's president Takeshi Itzawa revealed.
The service is scheduled to be available in July.
Provide services in each country except Japan and the United States.
According to the announced release, BITBOX is an exchanges that only offers transactions between virtual currencies, and you can not buy or sell virtual currency with legal currency.
We plan to handle more than 30 kinds of virtual currencies such as bit coin (BTC), Ethernet (ETC), bit coin cash (BCH), light coin (LTC).
Mr. Izawa said the currency handled in the event "I will add as needed."
In terms of excluding Japan and the United States, LINE announced the release notes, "LINE will develop virtual currency business in accordance with national rules and regulations concerning virtual currency transactions."

出澤社長はイベントで取り扱い通貨は「随時追加していく」と語っている。
日本と米国を除いている点について、LINEはリリースの注釈で「LINEでは、仮想通貨取引に関する各国のルールや規制に則り、仮想通貨事業を展開して参ります」と説明。
今後の同社の動向に注目が集まっている。
