10年前ぐらい(マジで10年前!?!?)日本語を勉強し始めたばかりです。友達とよく寿司を食べに行って酒を飲む。「サケ」と言わなくてアメリカ人は「サキー」と呼ぶ。アメリカには普通に日本酒を飲む人もいますけど、大学生だったら必ず酒バクダンで、大人にも人気です。
「サキーバクダン」はなんだろう?

I'm not sure if this is an international thing or an American thing. I totally forgot of its existence because I hadn't seen it once in all my years abroad. But when I went to visit New York and wanted to enjoy some authentic-ish Japanese food at an izakaya, I was reminded by the student next to me.
I have no idea where the Sake Bomb originated. I guess I could have done some research before this post but the point of this post is to tell you that you that in five years I never once saw anyone sake bomb in japan.
