Reggaesteem FREE JAHM Contest Entry, Hosted by @conradsuperb

This is my entry in the contest organized by @conradsuperb, which gives us the opportunity to express our experiences so far within the tribe reggaesteem.

I take this opportunity to invite you to join this tribe to the friend @sacra97 I know that she is very active within the platform, and that with the quality of her post and her humanity could grow even more and help others grow. Also @issymarie I would like to see her posting on this tribe, I think she has a lot to offer. I also extend the invitation to @lisfabian, with his humor could brighten up this tribe even more and the friend @lecumberre (teacher, writer, Venezuelan singer), very active in the platform.

For my part I made the invitation a few days ago to @zhanavic69, who has also been bringing his publications in this tribe, apart from photographs in other tribes.

My experience so far in reggaesteem can be summarized with the words know, share, learn and grow,

The ones I'll justify next:

To know

I have to know the other person and myself objectively, in order to see their reality, or rather, to put aside illusions, my irrationally deformed image of them. Erich Fromm

Although there is no face-to-face relationship with other users, in most cases, interrelationship through publications, through a specific topic, allows a certain degree of rapport to be reached, based on the ideas raised in these and the comments. Also through discord this interrelationship is facilitated, doubts are clarified, projects are created among so many other things.

In this way (discord) I have asked @cryticat and @dmilliz for guidance, always with the willingness to collaborate. So I can say that although I don't know them personally, I can say that they are good people.
I have managed to reach other users with diversity of topics within this same tribe, which bring interesting proposals, I have learned many things from being more present in this tribe.

Share

"Isn't that what music is?, sharing it with others. Adam Levine

In any social network it is a question of sharing information, in this particularity of being able to monetize content makes it different from the others.

Sharing through my publications what I manage to study, research, both tourist spaces and singers, is something I like. Some artists are already known by the majority, others are not, and I think that's what it's all about, if not for everyone, for the majority.

A way to help and share what I have perceived in the form of jahmpower is voting other publications, Curar, something very important, work that I must highlight comes doing very well the friend @super-irie, also for his part @jk6276esta doing his thing.

Learning

Always walk through life like you've got something new to learn and you will. Vernon Howard.

I have no problem in confessing that my knowledge about Jamaica was limited to what is the cradle of Reggae, as I expressed in a previous publication, the reggae I heard the most in my adolescent stage was that of Bob Marley and UB40, however, its origins, history, variations, different genres that come out of it, for me were totally unknown.

It was... because I can already say that I've been learning a lot more about it. And realizing that the number of artists is immense and each not only with the important and transcendent artistic work but that most have a very important social work. To this is added the fact that I've been able to get to know a little bit of other nearby countries such as Haiti (for example), with which they share a related history.

Growing up

"The only real failure is not being able to grow as a result of our experiences."

Marianne Wiliiamson

It's obvious that my account is slowly growing into Steempower but much faster into Jahmpower. It's growing in followers, and also in people I follow.

It has also allowed me to know other realities and to grow as a human being and intellectually.

Knowledge makes you great, but in spite of that you always have to maintain humility.

Knowing about other realities allows you to value what you have, and also to contemplate the possibility of helping from a distance.

I close with this sentence from Kate Morton:

"We grow and change as life treats us."

I invite to be a part of

**I invite you to follow the tribe **
