Con grande forza d'animo cerca di vincere il suo stato di disagio e dirige i suoi pensieri altrove, ai suoi programmi scolastici che, è sicura, l'avrebbero occupata totalmente perché era necessario far fronte, senza indugio, alla loro realizzazione. Il lavoro si presenta arduo perché la riuscita non sarebbe dipesa solo da competenza e buona volontà dei docenti, anche se molto motivati, nè dal capo d'istituto, anche se dotato di grandi virtu'organizzative, ma anche di tutte quelle agenzie educative che ne sarebbero state coinvolte. Si dovrà innanzi tutto dare inizio ad un assiduo dialogo con quelli cui sta a cuore un insegnamento nuovo, che superi il dramma, della selvaggia modernizzazione che tenga conto del suo glorioso passato, che abbia la precisa volontà di ricostruire culturalmente individui responsabili attraverso contenuti idonei a formare non il cittadino di un determinato territorio,di un determinato paese, ma il "cittadino del mondo". Oggi l'esigenza profonda di sprovincializzazione, che porta a cercare il contatto con altre esperienze nella loro dimensione culturale, morale, spirituale, rappresenta lo strumento più idoneo ad affrontare un discorso sull'uomo, sui suoi problemi, sulla sua essenza che dev'essere capace di confrontarsi con gli altri e di intervenire positivamente per modificare una realtà poco umanizzante, spesso omofobico.

La nostra, trattandosi di una società sommersa da una crisi economica e di valori senza precedenti, dominata dalla logica dello sfruttamento in tutti i campi, dalla incomunicabilità e dalla solitudine, deve preoccuparsi di formare uomini liberi da quella impotenza, da quella fiacchezza spirituale che oggi li affliggono. La rinuncia all'impegno, dunque, deve reagire e rappresentare un modello di uomo dalla grande fede nelle sue capacità creative, nelle sue possibilità illimitate, nella sua intelligenza, nella certezza di essere utile agli altri per dar vita ad un avvenire di solidarietà e di armoniosa attività operativa. Solo cosi' potrà affermare di aver dato un senso alla propria esistenza e di avere ricostruito un mondo che pareva perso ma che è stato recuperato. Il raggiungimento del bene comune, con la sua molteplicità di problemi reali, dev'essere al centro dell'attenzione di ognuno che deve condannare la macchina del fango che rischia di macchiare anche la gente per bene.
