Il mio articolo di oggi riguarda una mia fissazione, una collezione che ultimamente ammetto che sto un pochino trascurando ma che comunque mantiene sempre, ai miei occhi, lo stesso fascino: le carte da gioco!
Le carte da gioco mi hanno sempre attratto… probabilmente perché i protagonisti sono loro, i miei amati numeri! O magari ne sono attratto perché la loro origine pare sia sconosciuta, o forse perché ogni mago o illusionista che si rispetti ha il suo magico mazzo di carte… (ebbene si, sono un amante della magia, dell’illusionismo e del mentalismo… ma non divaghiamo!) o, ancora, semplicemente mi piacciono perché ci si può giocare!
Insomma il punto è che le colleziono e il mio sogno sarebbe di possedere carte da gioco provenienti da ogni parte del mondo! Scommetto che non tutti sanno che le prime carte da gioco di cui si ha notizia erano cinesi e probabilmente associate alla nascita della carta moneta… in pratica erano sia il mezzo che la posta in gioco… forte vero?
Come tutti sappiamo nel nostro Paese le carte sono quelle con i semi italiani e spagnoli, e sono i classici mazzi da 40 carte di 4 semi differenti: oro (o denari), coppe, mazze (o bastoni) e spade. Ma in Italia conosciamo anche le carte con i semi francesi che sono quelle da poker per intenderci, ovvero le carte a 4 semi che però sono: cuori, quadri, picche e fiori e che sono di numero superiore perché per ogni seme si hanno anche le figure J,Q e K ed inoltre vi è la carta speciale detta Jolly!
Esistono poi delle carte particolari, non proprio canoniche ma ormai popolarissime, che non hanno quattro semi ma 4 colori e non si limitano ad essere classificate per numero ma possiedono altre caratteristiche, ovvero le carte da Uno! Ci sono ovviamente tantissimi altri tipi di carte da gioco ma non sono di altra natura totalmente (mi riferisco alle carte per i giochi di ruolo, o di società e così via) Ultime ma non in fatto di importanza (anche queste presenti nella mia collezione!) ci sono i Tarocchi. Sono diverse dalle carte comuni sia come numero che come contenuto e si dice che possano essere usate per leggere il futuro… ma questo lo sapevate già!
Un mazzo di carte che non ho ma che vorrei ardentemente nella mia collezione sono le carte da gioco indiane… perché? Perché a differenza delle nostre, che sono tutte rettangolari seppur con diverse proporzioni secondo la regione di appartenenza, quelle indiane sono rotonde… bellissime!
Purtroppo non so se vale per tutte le regioni perché non sono un esperto ma le carte napoletane hanno diverse raffigurazioni sul dorso e ovviamente io le colleziono anche in funzione di questo aspetto, ma ho trovato anche carte napoletane diverse non solo nel disegno ma anche nella forma… ma vi allego la foto di parte della mia collezione così ci capiamo!
Vi lascio con quest’ultima curiosità, per rimanere in tema passioni/psicosi… ma lo sapete che l’ultima volta che ho preso l’aero mi sono comprato le carte da gioco con il logo della compagnia aerea impresso sul dorso? Vabbè la devo smettere con queste confidenze altrimenti ogni articolo rischia di diventare materiale per una seduta con voi popolo di psicologi in ascolto… scherzi a parte, in definitiva amo le carte…e a voi piacciono almeno un pochino? Fatemelo sapere… nel frattempo, come di consueto, vi abbraccio tutti!!!

My article today is about my fixation, a collection that lately I admit that I'm a little neglecting but that still maintains, in my eyes, the same charm: the playing cards!
Playing cards have always attracted me... probably because the protagonists are them, my beloved numbers! Or maybe I'm attracted to them because their origin seems to be unknown, or maybe because every self-respecting magician or illusionist has his magical deck of cards ... (yes, I'm a lover of magic, illusionism and mentalism... but not we digress!) or, again, I simply like them because we can play with them!
In short, the point is that I collect and my dream would be to have playing cards from all over the world! I bet that not everyone knows that the first playing cards of which we have news were Chinese and probably associated with the birth of paper money... in practice they were both the means and the stakes... strong, right?
As we all know in our country the cards are those with Italian and Spanish seeds, and are the classic 40 card decks of 4 different suits: gold (or deniers), cups, clubs (or sticks) and swords. But in Italy we also know the cards with the French seeds that are those poker to be clear, or the cards with 4 seeds, however, are: hearts, diamonds, spades and flowers and that are higher number because for each seed you also have the figures J, Q and K and also there is the special card called Jolly!
There are also special cards, not really canonical but now very popular, which do not have four seeds but 4 colors and are not limited to being classified by number but have other characteristics, that is, the Uno cards! There are obviously many other types of playing cards but they are not totally different (I refer to the cards for role-playing games, company hats and so on) Latest but not in fact of importance (these also present in my collection!) there are the Tarots. They are different from ordinary cards both in number and content and are said to be used to read the future... but you already knew that!
A deck of cards that I do not have but would like in my collection are the Indian playing cards... why? Because unlike ours, which are all rectangular with different proportions depending on the region they belong to, the Indian ones are round... beautiful!
Unfortunately I do not know if it applies to all regions because I am not an expert but the Neapolitan cards have different representations on the back and of course I also collect them according to this aspect, but I also found Neapolitan cards different not only in the drawing but also in the form... but I am attaching the photo of part of my collection so we understand each other!
I leave you with this curiosity, to stay on the subject of passions / psychosis... but do you know that the last time I took the aero I bought the playing cards with the logo of the airline imprinted on the back? Oh well I have to stop with these confidences otherwise each article is likely to become material for a sitting with you people listening psychologists... joking aside, ultimately I love the cards... and you like at least a little?
