Era molto tempo che avrei voluto provare a vettorializzare uno dei miei disegni, ma non ne ero capace.
La comunità italiana di steemit mi ha dato la possibilità di approcciarmi in maniera facile a illustrator e provare questa nuova tecnica.
Un ringraziamento particolare va sicuramente a @giulianomlodi e @airmatti che con i loro tutorial mi hanno aiutato tantissimo.
Ho scelto uno dei miei disegni più semplici per iniziare. L'ho importato in illustrator e una volta abbassata la trasparenza ho iniziato a ricalcarlo su di un altro layer.
It was a long time since I wanted to try to vectorize one of my drawings, but I was not able to.

I chose one of my simplest designs to get started. I imported it into the illustrator and once I lowered the transparency I started to recalculate it on another layer.
Una volta ripassati tutti i bordi e dettagli con lo strumento di pittura dinamica ho inziato a colorarlo.
I colori che ho dato, sono tutti uniformi perchè ho preferito non usare le sfumature, al fine di ottenere un effetto fumetto.
Once all the edges and details have been reworked with the dynamic painting tool, I started to color it.
The colors I gave, are all uniform because I preferred not to use the nuances, in order to obtain a comic effect.
Onestamente il disegno appariva molto piatto, cosi con lo strumento cutter ho iniziato a ritagliare delle zone per mettere delle zone d'ombra nette per ravvivare il tutto.
Onestamente questo passaggio a reso il disegno piu vivace secondo me.
Honestly, the design was very flat, so with the cutter tool I started to cut out the areas to put some sharp shadows to revive the whole thing.
Honestly this step made the design more lively according to me.
Terminato il lavoro non ero convinto da quello sfondo bianco e ho deciso di creare uno sfondo con il tema dello spazio che sposasse bene il mio disegno.
Il risultato mi piace molto e spero che sia il primo di una lunga serie di vettorializzazioni.
La vettorializzazione potrà permettermi di stampare i miei disegni a qualsiasi dimensione senza perdita di qualità, e quindi poter fare loghi, e stampe di qualsiasi dimensione.
After the work I was not convinced by the white background and I decided to create a background with the theme of space that would marry my design well.
I like the result a lot and I hope it is the first of a long series of vectorizations.
The vectorialization will allow me to print my drawings to any size without loss of quality, and therefore be able to make logos and prints of any size.
