Starting of iPay in Bangladesh

The country's first online-based money transfer company 'IP Systems Limited', which was started as a payment service provider-PSP of Bangladesh Bank, was launched commercially.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith inaugurated the Mobile Wallet-based shopping app 'IP' in a capital city on Thursday.

Information Minister Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, State Information and Technology Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak, Chairman and Managing Director of Ipe Systems Ltd Md. Shahidul Ahsan and Chief Executive Officer Zakaria Swapan.Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith said, the Internet payment service will be able to advance the path of building the cashless society.

He said, it would be possible to reduce crimes like human rights violations, militancy funding, and reduce the amount of criminal funding, if the cashless society is formed.

In the context of the issue, founder and chief executive officer Zakaria Swapan said, "From the smartphone to the Google Play Store, downloading an app can easily open a digital wallet in the IPAY.In addition to the Android and IOS supported smartphones, feature phones can also be accessed via the feature phone from the feature phone and the IP Wallet. The goal of IP is to build a secure payment ecosystem in Bangladesh for individuals and businesses.

Chairman and Managing Director of IP Systems Limited Shahidul Ahsan said, with the help of an IPO, daily life shopping and other bills can be paid without cash.He said that as a complete digital wallet, user bank accounts can easily be attached to the IP Account Account. Because Ipad is associated with all commercial banks in Bangladesh.

Any Bangladeshi citizen can download from Apple or Google Play Store (iPay Bangladesh) and sign up for a new account. Apart from this, you can also make new accounts from ipay.com.bd website.
