Create your IOTA wallet and get 13 IOTA for free. (because of zero transaction fees:)
In this article i will show you step by step how to set up an IOTA wallet.
- Download the Client
You can download the latest client from https://github.com/iotaledger/wallet/releases. Download the respective version for your operating system.
2.a) Install on Windows
After you have downloaded the .exe file from our Github repo go to the Download folder and double click on the executable. After that you should see an installation screen, wait until it's finished.
Once the installation is completed, the app will automatically open as well as create Desktop shortcut.
2.b) Install on Mac
After you have downloaded the .dmg file from our Github repo, head to the Download folder and click on the .dmg file. You should see a folder like below. Drag the IOTA Wallet icon into the Applications folder.
Once you've dragged the IOTA Wallet into your applications folder, head to your Applications folder and right click on the IOTA Wallet and click on "Open".
After that you'll see a security alert. Click on "Open".
After that you should see your IOTA application successfully running. Congratz! You're successfully connected to the network now and are running your node.
3.Choose a 81 Character SEED. Letters from (A-Z and only the number 9)
DO NOT share your SEED with anyone!

4.Generate a recieving adress by clicking the button > RECIEVE > Attach to Tangle
5.Post your recieving adress in the comments below and get your first 13 IOTA .
