The china ministry of transport is edging to establish a laboratory specilizing in treating oil spills at sea. The first of it kind in the country.
China is estimated to spending 200million yuan a year in research for emergency treatment on oil spills.
The laboratory is planned in the northern port city of Tianjin, with an estimated investment of 400million yuan ($63mllion)
The investment will research project on oceanic ecological protection and safety issues of sea-borne transportation.
China is now edging towards becoming a very symbolic country in the world known for her new and advance technology.
