The "fellowship of the ring" was the first book I had for so many years, before I could read and understand most vocabulary. It was gifted to me during my 12th birthday - that was on the 4th of July. It's been so many years now but I still feel some connection to it with this very quote.
My name is Jane, which means "A gift from God". I am choosing to go by "the griot" because I am a descendant of a Griot. I love the name Zephyra a lot as it means "of the west wind" - I am from a country in West Africa.
I am an ordinary lady with dreams that are way bigger than my size and built much higher than my height. I am a thinker, somewhat unconventional and my imagination runs wild most times. I believe in time sorting out most things for us and that in living for myself & others, I can find peace and self actualization. You only have to be kind and patient with others, for me to admire and love your personality.
I love the idea of being in new places, having a taste of different cultures, getting to know the natives in a new town and learning the diversities that exist among us, are things I always hold close to heart. I haven't traveled much but I've got a gypsy soul and I dream of some day, seeing all the wonders of the world that my time here can afford me. I am an avid reader and I love all things science, history & art - yes, all of it!

I do not know much about time differences for most parts of the world but we share the same time with the United Kingdom. So memorize the name & keep checking for new posts here.
As much as I am setting this plan now, I am still a newbie here and haven't gotten the hang of most of the things here - I have read up on most terminologies but I still don't know their technicalities. As I begin my steemit journey from grass to grace, I hope to carry y'all along as I read through, learn, post and learn more about this amazing community.
