Hello Steemers,Steemates, Steemlings, Steemizens or just Steem.
I am Vivek Jyoti Gupta, filmmaker, screenwriter, animator, self-publisher, online marketer, blogger and the list goes on. From the heart, I am a knowledge seeker, and I will come to that later.
Before anything else, I must thank @jerrybanfield for introducing me to this platform. Jerry doesn’t know me, but I know him through his youtube videos.
I am very grateful to him and excited to be here.
Am I here for Money?
Frankly, who isn’t. My basic instinct was money as I want to tell stories with the steem money. But, when I entered this world, it was different. It is actually beyond words to express what I found here. In simple terms, I found myself.
For so long I was yearning for a platform where I can have a voice that will not muffle in a million noises.
I can shed my clothes not to be a person who looks to be always happy, cheerful and prosperous.
I can seek the people with whom my soul connects.
I can share my knowledge with people who need it and a place which can be built by all of us.
Steemit shows me such promise that the love for money seems little and meaningless. I will be soon digging into other’s stories and share some of mine as well.
I Love:
To seek knowledge and I never shy away from taking risks in doing that. Though, it has slowed down considerably when you have a family of a loving wife, pretty daughter, and an ailing mom.
Yes, I am lucky to be surrounded by women. In Hinduism, woman denotes ‘Shakti’ the strength. So I am in the center of the Trinity. My risk-taking abilities may have slowed but my hunger to seek remains.
Both filmmaking and online business have higher risks than any other business, but its edginess keeps you alive. You need a place to recoil, and this may be the place.
Seeking knowledge helps me in telling better stories. I love to tell stories. Be it through writing, visuals or any other medium. I am a filmmaker who wants to share his stories with the world beyond words.

I am an online marketer and a blogger too.
It happened by accident when I was having a tough time in my life, and I was looking for other income avenues, and I got hooked. If it were not for this, I wouldn’t have been here.
Online marketing taught me many things. The failures and successes have helped me to believe in myself.
Positive beliefs, correct mindset, unrelenting attitude, firm discipline and helping people is what will make you successful.
It keeps you going through your tough times, and I am so fortunate for taking that detour in my life.
Treat your life as a movie and God is writing the screenplay. He will throw challenges at you from the least expected moments but you have to face it and overcome it to become the Hero of your story.
I will share my journeys which are exciting, and I always wanted to share these with others. What better than Steemit.

I Lost Him Forever:
My Dad - my Hero. My world collapsed when Baba (Dad) left me. I never thought I could live without him, but I have to accept life and move on keeping him alive inside me.
My Mom:
She is a fighter, and I am so lucky to be born out of her. She walks now after being bedridden for years fighting spinal tuberculosis.
She is partially blind but always found the zest to grab a chance to read.
My Wife:
Priyanki is a Classical Odissi Dancer and runs her dance school in Mumbai

My treasures are my friends and family. I live in Mumbai, India and am lucky to have them here.
I love movies, sports, food and to live with passion. I don’t care about failures and success.
I want to enrich my soul and savor whatever I can in the little time I have on this planet.
