This makes sense to me - I have blogged before in my spare time - once upon a time I blogged on Posterous about various off beat things - tech ideas, digital art and social entrepreneurship. Then the whole site got shut down so instead of blogging I went and did other stuff instead.
Workwise I spent a number of years in the tech for social good space but am now in FinTech. With that background it is pretty hard for me not to be very interested in the social uses of blockchain and so it also makes sense for me to base myself on Steemit.
