This is the thing, you see; I'm not always mindful of introductions. I value them, but I value them the same way that I value a #nutshell.
Consider my nutshell, then, why don't you:
I'm 29, so there's something of an existential crisis brewing beneath the surface as my 30th year is coming to a close (Look at me trying to play this whole thing down).
I've just completed my Master's in Religious Studies. It was a Master's by dissertation, so the previous two years were quite the test of my self-discipline. I'm not sure how I fared, but I'll let you know when I do.
"Mind the Symbolism" in my header may have just become a tad clearer to you, now. Perhaps even the general tone of my profile photo becomes clearer, too - although, look, to be honest, that was a complete and utter mistake of a photo that left me looking through my eyelids but I'm using it anyway, so interpret it any way you'd like to. I'd love a few takes on it (this may backfire, I know).
Religious Studies followed on from my undergraduate degree in History and my aim is to lecture in #History or Religious History. The two often blur in my eyes. So there you go, these are two of my passions, so you're probably going to see historical posts from me in the future, depending on my mood at the time. My other passions include pipe smoking. Yes, for a 29 year-old. And no, I don't smoke weed in my pipes. These are two of my favourite pipes; perhaps you'd become better acquainted with them as we trudge through the passage of time.
Sometimes I stir the pot, and I enjoy exploring pot-stirring in various degrees through the aesthetic of #words. Often, I delve into surreal, deadpan and dark #humour. The following are from an Instagram account of mine which, in fact, helped me to get a #copywriting job in the #advertising field. I've got my issues with advertising, but it helps pay for food and #tobacco, you know? This account is a #coffee shop that's located in my head. We get many a strange #traveller in these parts.
