"The temperature between July-August is about 5 degrees Celsius, there is a possibility around August to appear bun upas," he said. Bun upas is a term Dieng citizens to call the phenomenon of ice dew that usually occurs around August, at the peak of drought.
In the morning, said Bukhori, the homestay in Sembungan serves typical dishes, namely, potato dieng, the best potatoes in Indonesia. There are various ways of serving, fried, baked and boiled. However, Dieng fries become the most common menu served together with coffee or carica.
