Hi, I'm here to help you revise chemistry!

Hi everybody!

I made this page to build a comprehensive resource on steemit for people interested in chemistry, for students revising for their exams or brushing up on the fundamentals, for homeschoolers, and for all you armchair scientists out there who wish to obtain a deeper understanding of chemistry.

Science is interesting. Chemistry is the science of materials and substances, their properties, how they interact, and how they can be used in everyday applications. It is the science that looks at the building blocks of materials - atoms. It is the science that calculates exact amounts of substance. It is the science that predicts how types of atoms will react with other types of atoms based on their electronic configurations. It is the science that provides a bridge between physics and biology.

It's the science of colour changing liquids, explosions, and metals that fizz and catch fire in water.

Chemistry is FUN.

I'm passionate about homeschooling and lifelong learning. So my aim here is to post as often as I can about chemistry, from first principles, through to high school chemistry, eventually indexing the entire specification for the (I)GCSE (in the UK and elsewhere) or the high school diploma (in the US). Sometimes I will post more advanced stuff, or stuff related to chemistry that might be interesting for everyone.

Thanks for visiting!
