Y'know it's funny, even hilarious at times how amazing and wonder~full new experiences are found when not even looked for! Serendipidy There I was, sitting comfortably in my favourite chair, nice cup of tea in hand ready to watch the latest video from World Crypto Network where they were about to interview the founders of Steemit and it was one of those moments when the universe seemed to tap me on the shoulder in a 'pay attention here and now' gesture. Needless to say, I was hooked {like a minnow} by their explanation and introduction to this marvelous site.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank @jerrybanfield and @bitcoinmeister for their extremely helpful videos regarding Steemit and cryptocurrencies.
What Value Can I Bring To Steemit?
I love making new friends and sharing experiences with positive people. In fact, for a few years now I have enjoyed helping many with the techniques used in Neuro Linguistic Programming. I also have a passion for guiding people through and eventually OUT of the matrix. A lot of us humans here have, and are experiencing an awakening from the apparent prison of old outdated thoughts and I really enjoy acting as a guide towards this exciting future we are collectively creating. I am also a guitarist and song writer with over forty years experience and love sharing/collaborating/jamming with other musicians.
My Story...
Greetings fellow Steemians, my name is Phi23 and I live in the North East of England with my beautiful partner and daughter. Currently I am working as a support worker helping people with autism and aspergers. It can be very exhausting work mentally at times but also extremely rewarding.
Awakening From The Dream
From my early twenties I suffered a great deal with anxiety and panic attacks. It was a horrible time in my life but one which I can now regard as a wonderful gift. You see, sometimes in life, experiences are given and the meaning or purpose can be hidden or lost behind our initial reaction. In short; there was a huge awakening and release from all the the pain. The penny seemed to have dropped and left in it's place a clarity and obviousness which prompted me to spend the next twenty years helping and guiding people who suffer from their own pain.
Keep On Strumming
I am very blessed and fortunate to have parents who both play musical instruments. My Mother plays the piano and my Father plays guitar, so music was and still is a very important part of my life thanks to their influence. The love of music prompted me to leave home when I was a teenager and seek out my fame and fortune in our capital city of London. I have many fond memories of my time there and met many interesting characters along the way.
I don't play or write as much as I used to, but when I do play, I disappear, and all that is left is a vitality which 'comes through'. I must apologize for the poor description here but, hopefully, you have something that you love doing and understand how words can fail when we're 'in the flow'.
Who knows, perhaps now I have joined Steemit it may motivate me to start playing again and possibly record some videos. At the very least, I hope to meet many new people who are expressing themselves in their own unique way and learn, share, support and encourage each other on this exciting new platform.
