According to a new study, even if temperatures remain at 2 degrees Celsius, sea level growth can not be stopped.
A group of scientists has established that sea level will grow between 0.7 and 1.2 meters even if a net zero is achieved in greenhouse gas emissions and remain at this level until the year 2300. This means that neither the Agreement of Paris on climate change, which seeks to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases to zero net and curb global warming, may stop this process.
