I am twenty(20) years of age
My hobbies are singing,reading and cooking. More so,i really love art work and anything that deals with nature.

Talking about food itself,it is any substance that can be consumed by living organism,especially by eating in order to sustain life.
The basic function of food is to to keep us alive and healthy.
Food science is known to be the discipline in which engineering,biological, and physical sciences are used to study the nature of foods, the cause of its deterioration, the principles underlying food processing and the improvement of foods for consumption.
History of food science:
Food is any substance normally eaten or drunk by living organism. The term food also include liquid drink. It is the main source of energy and of nutritional value to animals. It is usually from plants and animals origin.
The term food science is referred to interdisciplinary field that evolved first from chemistry, then microbial physics, engineering, psychology, genetics, biotechnology and law have become integral parts of this fascinating profession.
The history told us roman realized more than greeks, egyptian, or any other prior civilizations, that the agriculture was a prime concern for government. The romans were able to preserve a variety if foods by holding them in a vinegar, honey or pitch. Some food were dried either by sun or over the fire.
Food science became a legitimate profession after world war II
Objective:
Food science is designed to provide a practical and theoretical training on the conversion of raw agriculture produce into processed, packaged, shelf - stable food products and intermediate raw materials.
Going further into art.
Art is a diverse range of human activities in creating visual auditory or performing artifacts, expressing the author's imaginative, conceptual idea, or technical skill, intended to be appreciated for their beauty or emotional power.
Purpose of art:
The purpose of works of art may be to communicate ideas, such as in politically, spiritually, philosophically motivated art; to create a sense of beauty; to explore the nature of perception; for pleasure; or to generate strong emotion.
Importance of art:
It promote self esteem, motivation of cultural exposure, creativity, improved emotional expression.
It also enhances the process of learning.
