Kyrill Dev-Log #1 - Demo Map Development

Hey! We're back for our first development log! As you see above we have been working hard to develop a map for the demo of the game. This isn't a particularly large map, but it will serve two purposes. The first will be to demo the game. This includes the demo video we announced in our last post, as well as making into the final game as the tutorial scene for new players! This way we don't waste any development time and it will also motivate us to make the best demo scene possible since it will eventually make it into the final game.

We're trying to make the landscape as beautiful as possible. We have been hard at work shaping the terrain and adding textures to bring life to the game. Our next step is to add vegetation to the scene! This will include trees, bushes, grass, ect. At the same time we will begin to add props such as a few buildings, rocks/boulders, and trails. From there we will add some animals and monsters so the player can begin hunting!

Hopefully these images of the terrain make you as excited we are for the look and feel of the game. Keep in mind all of the assets are as optimized as possible as we would eventually like to make a mobile port of the game!
