Hey Lovely, so nice to meet you! My name is Kimberlee, a forty-something, still-finding-her-feet writer. 

YAY! So glad I found you Steemit!!!

I’ve become a bit discouraged with other networks because the personal element seems to have been hijacked by targeted advertising and boosted posts.  

Even though I’m not sure how the bitcoin element works, I love that this is an organic platform where I can give and receive feedback, inspire and be inspired.

I’m so excited for the opportunity to share sparkles of inspiration here.  

A bit about me 

I love to travel and find it hard to stay put.  It’s just as well I live in a travelling home.  Last year my husband and I became empty-nesters lol, so we decided to buy, renovate and live on our very own narrowboat.  

It’s amazing living on the water with our gorgeous Ragdoll cat, Starrie (looking forward to posting lots of cat mamma photos!)

I love being so close to Nature and having swans and geese as neighbours.  

Immersed in the natural world, there’s nothing I enjoy more than creating from the heart. I love to write, draw, design, create and make things connected with Nature, Life and the realm of feeling and experience. I also battle depression and write about it on my blog, Brave Treasures.

Why I write..

Writing for me is an invocation, to the most daring, resilient, curious, creative heart of me (and you). I believe in the essential quality of being; sometimes I can't see her through the fog of depression, but she is there all the same.
